Pop star and big brother runner up Amelia Lilly plus naughties sensation S-Club were among the artists we have been working with this week in Stockport for the official christmas light switch on - Thousands of people turned up to watch the star studded show; filling the streets of Stockport once again.

Director Sam was talking with Amelia Lilly and laughing about how her 2012 hit "You bring me joy" has been a staple in the DD Music Group background mix since it's release. She is embarking on a theatre tour next year as the lead role of Princess Fiona in the touring production of Shrek the Musical and tells us that musical theatre is what she always wanted to do. "She gave an incredible performance on the night that blew us all away, hopefully we will get to work together again in the near future" says Sam.

 Along with S-Club and Amelia: Stockport xmas light switch on also played host to one of it's famous residents; X-Factor sensation Lucy Spraggan who is just about to release her latest single in time for Christmas. We love it and defiantly recommend you keep an eye out for this anthemic track which she debuted exclusively for us at this event.

Once again another year in Stockport and every year keeps getting even bigger and better than the last!
